Based in Metro Detroit, I provide professional, on-location makeup services for brides and bridal parties, creating soft, radiant looks that photograph beautifully and last from “I do” to the last dance.
Meet JR - The Artist Behind J. Artistry
My love for makeup artistry began in Chicago, where I had the opportunity to work with brides, special event clients, models, and private parties. I was inspired by how makeup can enhance natural beauty and confidence for life's most meaningful moments.
When my family relocated to Detroit, I chose to put my business on hold to focus on my four children. Now that they're a bit more grown up, I'm excited to return to the beauty industry and bring my passion for timeless, elegant makeup to clients throughout the Detroit area.
My goal is to provide each client with a fun, relaxed makeup experience that leaves her feeling like the best version of herself.
Bridal + Special Occasion Pricing
Bride: $180
Bridal Trial: $130
Bridesmaids / Guests: $90
Prom or other Events: $85
Junior Bridesmaid: $50
Flower Girl (age < 10) $15
Travel Fee: After 25 miles from 48072 $50; after 80 miles, standard mileage rates apply
Early Start Fee: $50 (before 7am)

2026 Bridal Promotion: 2026 is almost over! If you're in need of bridal makeup between now and December 31, 2026, i'm offering 15% off your total wedding party cost, (Including Bride, bridesmaids, family members; excluding your trial). Must have at least two other people receiving makeup services for this promotion.
2027 Prom Promotion: Prom seems far away, but book early for a 10% discount! Must pay deposit by January 31, 2027.
